MAJOR CAUSAL FACTORS IN ROAD AND TRAFFIC-RELATED INJURIES
Drunk driving--or driving while on medications or drugs---"-inattention for any reason"--(Rage--anger--cell phones--food--make up---sex)---AND-- poorly maintained vehicles. NOT using the seatbelts increases the chances for injury and death. Properly worn restraints worn by good safe drivers results in fewer devastating collisions. Not driving DEFENSIVELY is a big problem. Incorrect turns, driving too fast for road conditions, not following the flow of traffic, at intersections running or not following signal lights. There's so many that is just a few. There are really 6 major ones listed in the driver handbook.
